Tata Tiago NRG Teased Ahead Of Launch!

The Tata Tiago is about to receive its special edition once again! The Tata Tiago NRG is about to make a comeback in the Indian market! With the launch expected to happen in the coming week, the Indian automaker has teased the hatchback in a new green colour. Here is what we can expect from the upcoming crossover version of the Indian hatchback.

Tata Tiago NRG | Expectations

Here is what we can clearly see from the teaser and what we expect from the upcoming 2021 Tata Tiago NRG.

1. The upcoming NRG has got a completely blacked out roof and the ORVMs are also black as seen in the first teaser above.
2. Moving on, we can expect a different set of updated alloy wheels with a body cladding and few more blacked-out elements in line with the already existing models.
3. Apart from this, we can also expect some more colour options to be introduced in the Tiago lineup.
4. On this inside, the new crossover version, the Tata Tiago NRG will have an updated upholstery colour scheme along with the orange inserts we have already seen before.

Apart from this, the Tata Tiago NRG will continue to have what the normal version already has on board. The standard fitments will be carried on from the current model. These include the 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Automatic AC, steering mounted audio controls, digital instrument cluster, keyless entry and of course, the driver-adjustable seat.

Engine & Safety

The new Tiago NRG will be powered by the same 86PS 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT transmissions. On the safety front, all of us know that it is a safe car according to Global NCAP. On the safety feature front, it gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, rear parking sensors and a rear camera.

Last but not least, the all-new Tata Tiago NRG is expected to launch on August 4th 2021 and talking about the price, we can expect it to be around 30,000 more than what the normal version costs you.

Rivals

The Tiago rivals against the already existing top-selling hatchbacks in the Indian automotive market. These include the Maruti’s tallboy WagonR, the Hyundai Santro. While Tiago has got decent competition, The NRG has got no active rivals as of now!
