Tesla Cybertruck To Join Dubai Police?

Dubai police have always created hype among people for the fleet of cars they own. The Dubai police already have numerous supercars like Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron, Aston Martin One-77 and Ferrari FF. Tesla’s Cybertruck seems to be added in this fleet really soon!

All the car enthusiasts across the world love this fact about the Dubai police. According to the latest tweet by the Dubai police, they are planning to add the Tesla Cybertruck to their patrol car fleet. The tweet by the Dubai police on 26th November displayed the Cybertruck personalised to match the other cars in the fleet. The post had a caption- “#CyberTruckDubai Police – 2020”.

 

Tesla’s Cybertruck is an electric pickup truck. This vehicle is currently available in 3 variants.

  • A single-motor RWD variant which provides a range of 402kms.
  • A dual-motor AWD variant which provides a range of 482kms.
  • A tri-motor AWD variant which provides a range of 804kms.

It sports an ultra-hard 30Xcold-rolled stainless-steel. It gets armoured glass windows. These windows were unfortunately shattered at the showcase event of the Cybertruck. It has a cabin which can accommodate upto six passengers. There is a huge 17-inch touchscreen for infotainment purposes. Elon Musk has claimed that this newly launched vehicle is a better pickup truck than the Ford F-150 in terms of power and is faster than the Porsche 911 in terms of speed.

The price of the Cybertruck starts from USD 39,000 (Rs.28.67 lacs) and goes upto USD 69,900 (Rs.50.23lacs). A self-driving variant is also being offered. The self-driving variant of the Cybertruck will be available for an extra cost of USD 7,000 (Rs.5.03lacs).

Tesla has already received more than 2.5lac orders for this vehicle according to the latest statement issued by Elon Musk.
