Japanese automaker Toyota is all set to take the cover of off there first compact SUV based on the Toyota Yaris at the upcoming Geneva motor show scheduled to be held in the month of March 2020.
Tha Toyota small SUV will eventually be placed below the upcoming C-HR compact SUV for international markets, the all-new compact SUV will be categorised into the B-segment format which is yet to receive a formal name. Toyota is also planning to build the all-new small SUV at the company’s Onnaing plant situated in France, along with the Toyota Yaris.

The company has also revealed a short teaser confirming the small SUV will support a hybrid powertrain with an AWD (All-wheel-drive). Rumour also has it that the all-new compact SUV will be based on the company’s all-new modular TNGA-B architecture.
The B-segment SUV will get its power from 1.0-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol option, accompanied by a complete hybrid setup.
The all-new small SUV will initially be launched for international markets which will then be followed by a few ASEAN markets. Rivalling the likes of the Nissan Juke and the Renault Captur.
According to leading media reports, the Toyota small SUV could also be the rebadged version of the all-new 2020 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza with a few cosmetic tweaks both on the outside as well on the inside. The Vitara Brezza is all set to launch by the end of this month.
