While the economy takes a toll due to the global pandemic, every industry in India has begun reviving itself. Although the Delhi Metro services have been restored from today, people are preferring the use of personal transport over public transport. Therefore, the automotive industry in India has seen a rise in the sale numbers. The lockdown has eased but people are very careful with their money considering the situation. The growing need for personal mobility has led the two-wheeler market to experience a boom too. Let’s have a look at the two-wheeler sales report in August 2020.
P.S. the rankings in the list are according to the cumulative units sold domestically and those exported overseas.
-
Hero Moto Corp

With a sale of 5,68,674 units, Hero Moto Corp has shown a great YoY growth (number of units sold in August 2019 vs the number of units sold in August 2020).
