Hero Motor Corp. (3,74,485 Units)
The Indian motorcycle manufacturer Hero has been topping the sales, months in and months out for more than 5 years now. Yet again, in December 2021 the crown for the most two-wheelers sold goes to Hero. Last month Hero sold 3,74,485 motorcycles in the country. Where there are a little lower when compared to December 2020, these figures are certainly higher than November 2021. Within a month, Hero gained about 13.87% in sales. But including the export at Hero managed to sell 3,94,862 units.

Honda (2,10,612 Units)
The next on the list is the Japanese automotive giant known for making one of the best petrol engines on the planet, Honda. Honda acquires a substantial market in the Indian automotive industry be it two-wheeler or four-wheelers. That said, Honda sold 2,10,612 two-wheelers in the Indian market. Coupled with the exports, in total Honda delivered 2,23,621 two-wheelers. This Japanese auto giant didn’t do good in exports, but they do have the international Honda division for the same. In India too the sales dipped by 17.78% when compared to November 2021.

TVS (1,46,763 Units)
Moving on, taking the top spot we have another Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS. In the last month of 2021 TVS sold 1,46,763 two-wheelers in India. Like the majority of the other motorcycle manufacturers, TVS too witnessed a downfall of about 16.58% in sales when compared to November 2021. Combined with export numbers TVS managed to sell 2,35,396 two-wheelers.

Bajaj Auto (1,27,593 Units)
Next on the list is another Indian motorcycle manufacturer. Bajaj in December 2021 sold 3,18,769 motorcycle. However, these sales figures do include the export numbers. This is where Bajaj takes the top spot. Talking about these sales numbers in India, Bajaj managed to sell only 1,27,593 motorcycles landing the company in the third position.

Royal Enfield (64,189 Units)
With the research and development in the right direction, Royal Enfield has gained a lot of customers lately. This has to do with the considerable improvement in the company’s product lineup as RE in India sold 64,189 motorcycles in India. But combining the export numbers, this jumps to 73,739 motorcycles. Comparing the figures with November 2021 Royal Enfield gained 45.41% in sales the maximum in the Indian two-wheeler industry.
