The all new Mahindra XUV700 has surely created a buzz in the industry. Everyone is eager to see it roll out on the roads and see how all its features work. Let’s see how the Mahindra XUV700 stands against its 7-seater rivals like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the Hyundai Alcazar.

Design
While a choice in looks is something that varies from person-to-person, the Tata Safari and the XUV700 are definitely the two best looking SUVs in the segment. The Hyundai Alcazar also has an excellent design language, but it lacks that SUV like appeal and road presence. According to the numbers, the XUV700 is the largest and the Hector Plus is the smallest in size while the Safari lies in the middle. The MG Hector Plus is also a very handsome looking car, but it would look better with bigger wheels though.

Width | 1960mm | 1894mm | 1790mm | 1835mm |

Features
This is a place where Mahindra has taken a huge leap forward. While all 3 cars are amazingly feature-loaded, the XUV700 just stands apart with the dual screens, ADAS, Alexa-enabled system, retractable door handles and a host of safety tech. If you’re someone looking for a full-size 7-seater SUV and you want it to be loaded to the brim with features, please wait for the XUV700. The Hector does get a brownie point for having an electric tailgate.

It’s pretty clear that the XUV700 has the most promising numbers from the lot. That coupled with the option of an AWD system makes it the best on the performance front. However, we will still need to wait for it to come on the roads and actually see how it drives and handles.

Third Row Space
While the third row space in all these cars is meant for children only, it is the Tata Safari that will seat them most comfortably. It has marginally more knee space in the third row as compared to the other three.
