The All-New mStallion Engine
Mahindra showcased a new generation of engines at the Auto Expo 2020. The mStallion engines were much awaited. And with the reveal of Thar 2020, Mahindra has introduced the first car with the new era engines. The iconic offroader gets the all-new mStallion 150 TGDi engine. And that’s not all. With an approach angle of 42-degrees and a departure angle of 37-degrees, Mahindra Thar can take on the offROAD less travelled! It also has a water wading ability of 650mm. And to keep you above the ground, be it any terrain, Mahindra Thar is equipped with all-terrain 255/65 R18 tyres, largest in the class.

With such performance at the offer, Mahindra had to make sure that the all-new Thar is safe. So it has got a load of features up its sleeves to make you feel safe. First in class features include ESP with roll-over mitigation, built-in roll cage and hill hold and descent control. It also gets rear parking sensors and dual airbags. 2020 Mahindra Thar is also equipped with ABS. It has been built like a vault and according to the company, the Thar meets the global standards of safety for both the occupants as well as the pedestrians.
