It seems that German auto giant Volkswagen is up to something for their Indian consumer as just recently the new 2020 Volkswagen Passat was spied testing on Indian roads for the first time since it was first showcased at the 2019 Detroit motor show.
As seen in the spied images we can clearly make out the 2020 Volkswagen Passat comes with an elevated front fascia and other cool specs. We can expect to see the all-new 2020 Volkswagen Passat sometime in the second quarter of 2020 is likely to come with a price tag of Rs.30-35 lakh (ex-showroom).

- As per leading media reports, Mechanically the 2020 Volkswagen Passat will come powered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine, However, rumours also has it that the new VW Passat could also feature a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine delivering a maximum power output of 174 bhp and 280 Nm, which seems pretty good, All thanks to the new torque converter which comes combined to a new software.
- The power is transferred to all the four-wheels with the help of a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic.

- A new front fascia and sporty looks aren’t the only new specs on the 2020 VW Passat. On the outside, the new classy menace from Volkswagen also features a new grille with thick chrome slates surrounded by a new pair of sharper-wraparound headlamps.
- Additional features on the outside include a set of 17-inch aluminium-alloy wheels, along with LED taillights, a more prominent Passat badging which runs the width of the trunk lid.
- On the Inside, The 2020 Passat offers the latest upmarket accessories which certainly compliments the royalty. The Passat feature will feature an infotainment system compliant to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink, while the top-end model also features the Fender Premium Audio system.
- Upon its launch, we can expect the Passat to give a tough competition to the Honda Accord and the Toyota Camry.
