It was not too long ago when Korean carmaker Hyundai rolled out the current-gen Elantra but with some minor updates. And now new images have emerged of the all-new 2021 Hyundai Elantra have surfaced the internet ahead of its world premiere in the USA on the 18th of March 2020.
Hyundai hasn’t revealed any engine specifications of the 2021 Hyundai Elantra but rumour has it that the all-new Elantra will be based on a new platform and will be longer, lower and wider than its outgoing model. Additionally, the new model has been designed to resemble a four-door coupe, which seems to be quite evident from its silhouette.

2021 Hyundai Elantra | Engine Specifications
- The company has not given any specifications about the engine but we can surely expect the all-new Hyundai Elantra to feature the same 2.0-litre petrol compliant to the BS6 emission norms and an all-new 1.5-litre diesel engine if there is sufficient demand in the segment.
- Both the engine could come paired to either a 6-speed manual or DCT as standard and a 7-speed automatic transmission for a limited edition 1.4-litre turbo-petrol variant.
Hyundai Elantra Interior
- As seen on the sketches it seems to be very obvious that the all-new 2021 Hyundai Elantra will feature a four-spoke steering wheel along with a large touchscreen infotainment system which could merge directly into the instrument cluster making both a single entity.
- Some additional features on the new Elantra might include four AC vents, LED lightbar, an aircraft-style gear lever along with a number of buttons on the dashboard giving the interior the much required minimalistic look
Hyundai Elantra Exterior
- With most of Hyundai cars being based on the company’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design theme, the all-new 2021 Hyundai Elantra will favour its new ‘Parametric Dynamics’ design language basically ditching the old theme to make its own stance in the market.
- According to some of the sketches and pictures we can expect the Elantra to support a new set of LED headlights, a massive chrome-embellished cascading grille, dual-tone alloy wheels and T-shaped LED elements on the tail lamps that might get linked to the LED bar.
Price & Rivals
- Well, as stated before it is highly unlikely that Hyundai could launch the new Elantra anytime soon as it was not too long ago the company launched a mid-cycle update on the existing model.
- If and when launched the all-new 2021 Hyundai Elantra will rival the likes of the Honda City, VW Passat and the Skoda Superb and Octavia and could come with a price tag ranging from Rs 16-22 lakh (ex-showroom).
