Maruti Suzuki has officially opened the booking for the All-New Maruti Suzuki Celerio hatchback. The new Celerio can be booked with just Rs 11,000.
The all-new Celerio is touted as the most fuel-efficient petrol car as per Maruti Suzuki (this claim is supported by JATO Dynamics independent testing and research). It is expected that the new Celerio will return around 26 kmpl. It is to note that the existing Celerio has a fuel efficiency of 21.63 kmpl.

What’s new on the 2021 Maruti Celerio?
- The new Celerio gets an all-new exterior, completely different from the yesteryears. The economy hatch gets a more tall-boy exterior with brand new styling not only on the outside but on the inside as well.
- The new Celerio is powered by the 1.0-litre K10C NA petrol engine that churns out 68PS and 93NM of power and torque respectively.
- Transmission options consist of the same 5-speed manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) AMT.
- Marketed as the most fuel-efficient petrol car in India.
- The top-end Celerio features Maruti’s propriety 7-inch Smartplay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
- More updates on the new Celerio includes; keyless entry, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and steering mounted audio controls.
- The new Celerio is based on the 5th-gen of its Heartect platform which is lighter, stronger, and provides better safety, with reduced vibrations. There are no reports of the crash test safety rating of the Celerio.
- The Celerio also gets the Suzuki Connect which offers connectivity features such as real-time vehicle tracking, Geo-fencing, car finder, crash laser, intrusion alert, tow away alert, and driving behaviour analysis.
