The Hyundai Creta has been on the roads since 2015, with the second generation launched in 2020. It is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine making 115hp & the 1.5L diesel engine. The turbo variants make about 138hp with the 1.4L engine & variated turbo. As the competition increases in the segment, Hyundai needs to give a facelift to stay in the race.

These updates are inspired and heavily derived from the siblings such as Tucson & SantaFe sitting above Creta. Let’s look at what’s new:
- The facelifted Creta gets a new Paremertric Jewel front grille along with hidden DRLs following the same design. The front design has LED DRLs along with the dipped headlamps inspired by Tucson.
- The rear features boomerang-shaped taillights, which are similar to the current ones but with some tweaks. The boot also seems revised with new better-mounted stop lamps.
- The interior features could be derived from the Alcazar and include tech like a 360-degree camera. The sketch reveals a vertically positioned infotainment system with a D-cut steering wheel and a 3D speaker grille. It also shows a touch of silver on the gear knob.
- The interior does look alike except for the new orientation of the infotainment system; we can also expect a fully digital instrument cluster and some more features.
Although the features and tech are expected to be derived from the Alcazar, we can expect a little more as Hyundai needs to maintain its hold in the segment. Along with features such as blindspot monitoring, we can expect a panoramic sunroof too with the Creta facelift. Also Read: 2022 Hyundai Creta Spied, India Launch? There are no mechanical changes expected, and it would still be offered with the same powertrain options.
