Tata Mystery EV? Which EV will Tata Launch this April?

Out of the 3 EVs that are set to be launched, we believe the last Tata EV car to be either the long range Tigor EV, the Altroz EV, the Tiago EV, or there’s a small chance of Sierra EV respawning.

Altroz EV

The Altroz EV was previewed in the 2020 Auto Expo. It is expected to carry a range of 400 km, and should be priced around rupees 12-13 lakhs. Read everything about it: Tata Altroz- A Closer Look Or Tata Altroz EV to offer 500 km range on a single charge?

We saw Tiago EV way back in 2018 for the first time. Since then, there has been no clear future about this EV concept coming to life. However, with the announcement of that 3 new Tata EV cars will launch in the month of April, we finally might get to see this in production form.

If launched, it may get:

  1. The current Tigor EV battery pack
  2. Will have an expected price of 9 lakhs (making it one of the cheapest EV cars)
  3. Expected to get a claimed range of 300 km+, making it for city drive purposes with occasional small highway runs.

This is going to be another long range update that might be given by Tata. This Tata EV car might follow the footsteps of the upcoming Long range Nexon EV, and there are medium to high chances of this getting launched.

The Sierra EV

The Sierra EV was first showcased in the 2020 Auto Expo, and it garnered a LOT of attention from the media. It was supposed to be reborn as an all new Tata EV car, but the automaker has managed to keep things hush-hush for now.

Although there is a tiny bit of chance for the Sierra EV to make a comeback this April, however only a small chance. (Considering there hasn’t been many testing mules spotted on the road yet.)
