He donated a sum of $50 million to the Harvard Business School in 2010 to construct an executive centre. HBS dedicated an entire hall to him known as the ‘Tata Hall’ to honour their alumni.

Historical Mergers
He has managed some incredible mergers for his company, such as Jaguar Land Rover with Tata Motors, Corus & Tata Steel and Tetley & Tata tea. We all know when Indica did not perform well in the first year, He decided to sell his passenger division and was humiliated by their chairman, Bill Ford:
