Creta has been dominating the mid-size premium SUV segment for a while. Now the competition has grown significantly with the XUV700, Astor, Taigun & Kushaq. These new launches are loaded with tech features such as ADAS, AI assistants, and better power than before.

S-cross always has yielded good numbers, but it is time for a flagship SUV to take the competition head-on. Maruti is working with Toyota to make this one a collaborative product, and it will be something new for both the brands and Toyota will have something better than just rebadged cars. With this new SUV being launched, the S-cross is expected to receive a facelift too by 2022. -
New Generation Maruti Brezza
The Vitara Brezza has been in the top-selling compact SUVs as it is one of the cars that offer a complete package. It was launched in 2016 and was an instant hit among the people. This 4-star rated car with enough power and spacious interiors has been one of the hot-selling cars.

It has received minor updates & changes, but a significant update has been due for a while. Maruti will be working on making the Brezza more premium interior-wise with a sunroof in the coming year. 2022 Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Celerio has been the little family hatchback for endless people in India. A considerable number of people switched to Celerio for the convenience of AMT. While this little car is comfortable and fuel-efficient, the top variants lacked a touch screen infotainment system.

A generation update for the Celerio has already been revealed with a new platform and a touchscreen infotainment system. The exterior design has also been revised and looks sportier now. It will reach the markets in early 2022.

New Generation Baleno
The Baleno competes in the premium hatchbacks like the i20 & Altroz. It sits above the Swift and is popular among the people. It runs on the same engine as the Swift making the same 83hp. Launched in 2015, it now needs some major updates.

The test mules have been spied on the road, but the details are still sparse. The word around also suggests that Maruti could launch a Baleno-based compact SUV next year, and it will sit below the Brezza and be more affordable.

Facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Ciaz has been competing in the executive sedans segment with Honda City, Verna, Rapid. Launched in 2014 with the same K15B engine, it runs with a mild-hybrid petrol version currently. It is also among the few safe cars from Maruti with a 4-star rating.

Ertiga has been ruling the MPV segment for a while. Launched in, it has been one of the most affordable & fuel-efficient family cars that do not feel underpowered either. Recently Toyota also launched a rebadged Ertiga known, as Rumion which is likely to reach India next year.
