Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace launched in India at Rs 33.12 lakh

The all-new Tiguan was first showcased at Auto Expo 2020 and is now ready to take over the existing 5-seater Tiguan which has been on sale in the domestic market for a few years. Additionally, the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace will be the company’s first model which has been introduced by leveraging the cost of the already relaxed imports which eventually allow VW to bring in almost 2,500 CBU (Completely built-up) forms without the need for homologation.

As part of the VW group- Skoda, Volkswagen and Audi will have to share a combined allocation of 2,500 units which eventually means that the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace will be available in limited numbers only.

• On the mechanical front, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will support a 2.0-litre, TSI turbo-petrol engine pushing the maximum power output to 90hp with 320Nm of peak torque.
• The will come mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox which will send the power to all the four wheels via VW’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.
