In November 2020, TVS trademarked the name ‘Fiero’ again, creating speculations of a second launch of the 10+ years old classic commuter. Now, we have also been hearing that Bajaj has trademarked the name ‘Caliber’ again. It looks like Bajaj is planning to resurface the Caliber name in the market again, possibly with a 125-150cc engine.

Bajaj Caliber Insights
The Caliber was a very famous bike in its time from way back in 1998. It was sold in the Indian market right up until 2006 and the trademark expired in 2008. It’s not uncommon for us to see a perfectly fine running Caliber on the roads even now in 2021. Now that the name has been trademarked again, we’re very excited to see what Bajaj brings to the market this time.
The Caliber sold in huge numbers and now Bajaj is planning to bring that back. The 125cc segment is already in high demand. Bikes the Honda Shine and Discover 125 continue to sell in large numbers. We would love to see the Caliber name again in the market. We already know that Bajaj is known for staying atop the 125cc segment!
