Top 10 Best Performing Cars In India | September 2019

1. Maruti Suzuki Dzire

   Maruti Suzuki is still leading the numbers with its compact sedan-The Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The Dzire has earned the top position in the list of the most selling cars for the second consecutive time. With a sale of 15,662 units, the Dzire has maintained its position as the best selling car of India this month too!

2. Maruti Suzuki Alto

   September has been a good month for Maruti’s small hatch; The Alto. Considering both the 800cc and 1000cc versions, 15,079 units of the Alto have been sold this month. Alto had been there on the fifth spot last month according to the sale numbers and has shown a considerable increase from its last month’s sale.

3. Maruti Suzuki Swift

   The Swift has been an all-time favourite for the Indian audience! Maintaining its legacy, the Swift has made it to this list once again with a sale of 12,934 units this month.

4. Maruti Suzuki WagonR

   This car might be quite familiar to you if you use app-based cabs! Be it for the commercial purpose or for personal use; WagonR has never stopped winning Indian hearts. This car has received even more love after the facelift was launched. Maruti Suzuki WagonR recorded a sale of 11,757 units this month.

5. Maruti Suzuki Baleno

   Maruti Suzuki Baleno has always been an outstanding performer in its segment. The Baleno has outperformed its rivals this time too with a sale of 11,200 units in the month of September 2019 which is the highest recorded sale of this segment for this month.

6. Maruti Suzuki Brezza

   The mini-SUV segment has gained a lot of popularity in recent times and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been an excellent performer in the Indian market. This month too, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has made it into the top 10 list at the 6th spot with a sale of 10,362 units this month.

7. Hyundai i20

   Finally, we see a car apart from Maruti Suzuki’s lineup in this list. The Hyundai’s i20 has redefined the luxury hatchbacks and is competing with the Baleno every month in terms of sales. The Hyundai i20 has bagged a sale of 10,141 units this month.

8. Maruti Suzuki Eeco

   With the e-commerce growing day by day, no car suits this need better than the Maruti Suzuki Eeco. This is a one of its kind car providing excellent economy on fuel and maintenance which has led it into this list at the 8th spot (which is not bad at all for this car) with a sale of 9,949 units this September.

9. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

   The newly launched sporty hatch- The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has bagged the 9th position in the top-selling list in such a short period of time which is quite appreciable. Hyundai must be having great hopes from this car seeing its market response. For September 2019 the Nios has recorded a sale of 9,358 units. We will have to wait for the next month’s sales report to see how well this car does in the present month.

10. Hyundai Venue

    This compact SUV from Hyundai was launched recently and has gained popularity quite fast in the market. The audience had shown great love for this car last month. September has seen a downfall in the sales of this car but Hyundai still has its fingers crossed and hoping for a good number this month. Hyundai Venue has recorded a sale of 7,942 units for the month of September 2019.
