We are about to reach the end of 2021 and now that September 2021 has come to an end, we are here with the car sales report for the month of September 2021. Before we dive into the numbers, we want you to know that the last month has not been a good one for the Indian automotive industry. The overall sales figure has been low and here are the exact numbers that the Indian automotive industry yielded this time.
-
Maruti Suzuki (63,111 Units)
India’s top-selling brand has experienced a huge dip this time but has still maintained its ranking. MSIL is still in the first position with a YoY drop of 57.33%. No matter how low the sale number might be, if there is a collective impact, you can be sure about the fact that Maruti will be on top for sure.
-
Hyundai Motor India Limited (33,087 Units)
Following Maruti Suzuki, we have Hyundai in second place with a sale of 33,087 units and a YoY drop of almost 35%. A major thing to notice here is that Kia Seltos has taken over the Hyundai Creta in the sales chart. Creta formed to be the first one from the Hyundai family to be on the top 10 list. Stay tuned to get the full list coming ahead!
-
Tata Motors (25,730 Units)
Given that the Punch has launched just now, we expect Tata’s sales to go up further in the coming months. The new Tata Punch will push the Indian automaker’s sales in the coming months but for now, Tata has ended up selling 25,730 units with a YoY growth of 21.37%.
