India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp has finally decided to suspend its production at all of the company’s production facilities worldwide which include its factories in India, Colombia and Bangladesh along with its GPC (Global parts centre) situated at Neemrana with immediate effect till 31st March 2020 amidst the on-going Coronavirus outbreak spreading like wildfire in India.
All the designated employees at all other functions and locations which includes the company’s CIT (Centre of Innovation and Technology) located in Jaipur situated in Rajasthan will, however, continue to work from their respective homes.

Exempted for those whose physical presence is necessary to the facilities day-to-day important services.

Talking on the situation Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman Hero MotoCorp conveyed a very strict message through two Digital Town Hall meetings which were held in quick successions in the past week appreciating the organisations’ commitment to stand with his employees despite severe disruptions caused due to the on-going coronavirus outbreak.

The Task Force set-up by the Chairman is actively monitoring the developments through regular video conferencing and tell meetings in order to ensure the safety and business continuity plans are up-to-date.
