With the success of new entrants such as Kia and MG in India, more companies such as Great Wall Motors are planning to enter the market. The Chinese brand will be introducing its Haval SUV range at the Auto Expo 2020. But few days before the show, two of the SUVs: Haval F5 and Haval F7 have been spotted.
The orange colour SUV is the Haval F5 which is a compact crossover SUV made by the Chinese manufacturer. It will rival against the Maruti Suzuki S-cross, Tata Nexon and many other crossovers in India. The SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine which churns out 169hp of power and is mated to a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
The red SUV is the F7 is another compact SUV that the Haval will be introducing in India. It will also be powered by the same engine as the F5. There is also a more powerful 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine as an option.
Coming to GWM, it has a strong presence in the Chinese market and plans to aggressively enter the Indian market. The company has also taken over GM’s Talegaon facility.
