Hyundai is finally set to launch its smallest SUV, Exter, in India on July 10, 2023. So far, we have seen the car’s design, and the engine lineup has also been revealed with a bunch of features. Let’s see what this SUV will offer:
Hyundai has showcased the Exter partially through various teasers, but spy shots have revealed the final design. It has a boxy design with an upright stance, a split headlight setup, and a tanking rear area.

Exter gets round and flared wheel arches with thick cladding around the sides. It stands on dual-tone alloy wheels with roof rails on the top and a textured finish for the C-pillar. Hyundai has not revealed the exterior details yet, and there might also be dual-tone paint options to give a floating roof effect.
Powertrain & Features
Exter shares its platform with the Grand i10 Nios & Aura and will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a CNG version. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual, or AMT, gearbox. However, the AMT is only available with the petrol variants. Except for the usual tech, Exter is equipped with these first-in-segment features, making it an exceptional package.
