HMIF or more commonly known as the Hyundai Motors India Foundation which is also the corporate arm for the Hyundai Motors India Limited has come forward with a helping hand by placing an order for over 25,000 Coronavirus Advanced Diagnostic testing kits from South Korea to help the nation fight the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Additionally after receiving these the shipments the testing kits will be then distributed amongst the Centre and State Governments owned hospitals in all affected areas.

As part of our global direction – ‘Progress for Humanity’, Hyundai is committed to supporting the Government of India’s spirited fight against the COVID-19 crisis. Our contribution towards supplies of Advanced Diagnostic testing kits will help over 25000 People. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and support the Indian Government with multi-layered CSR initiatives to bring back normalcy at the earliest.”

As of now, Hyundai has temporarily suspended all operation at the company’s Chennai facility due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, Hyundai Motors India has also announced some customer benefits initiative under which the company shall be providing 24X7 roadside assistance along with extended two months support for customers who were unable to avail vehicle’s warranty/extended warranty/free service due to health emergency or dealership shut down in all affected cities.
Furthermore, Hyundai has also deployed over 1000 doorstep advantage bikes and road service car from severe dealerships in order to reach customers for assistance in case of any major emergency or minor repairs.
