We still haven’t got over the Kia Telluride and Kia is back again with Kia Mohave! No doubt the Telluride is the most premium SUV that Kia offers in most of the countries but Kia Mohave is officially the range-topping SUV that Kia Motors offers in their international portfolio! After the Telluride won the WCOTY (World Car of the Year) award, Kia is here with another SUV that has the capability to do wonders in the international market!
The Kia Mohave made its debut at the 2019 Seoul Motor show which happened in March 2019 and went on sale in the automaker’s home country towards the end of 2019. The latest update is about a range-topping variant that Kia has introduced recently in the Mohave lineup. The Kia Mohave Gravity is offered in 3 different seating arrangements! You can have this SUV in 5,6 & 7 seater arrangements. The changes are majorly cosmetic and limited to the interior equipment only.

Starting with the exterior, the main highlight is that Kia has not mentioned their brand anywhere on the SUV. The Mohave Gravity has got the ‘Mohave’ badging wherever required. Be it the front grille or the rear profile, you won’t see ‘Kia’ written anywhere. The grille is new and a black theme goes across the body. There are 20-inch 6-spoke wheels and the full LED headlamp and tail lamp assembly remain untouched!

On the inside, we can see rich leather treatment on the steering wheel, door panels and centre console. The Kia Mohave Gravity gets a 12.3-inch screen in the centre console and ambient lighting across the doors and the dashboard. Talking about the price, the Kia Mohave Gravity comes at a starting price of 55,470,000 South Korean won which makes it more expensive than the Telluride of course.
The Kia Mohave Gravity is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine which generates 260Bhp and 560 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. This SUV offers 7 driving modes – Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sand, Mud and Snow along with a 4×4 Low mode. Kia doesn’t plan to bring this one to India yet. Although, the US market is really looking forward to this one!
