Mahindra Funster concept was in the news since long. The automaker has now confirmed bringing the SUV concept into the expo by the same name. The vehicle is a future concept and most probably will become the next-gen XUV500. The Funster will be a preview to what the next-gen XUV 500 will look like. The new SUV is being readied for market launch later this year.

The Funster shares its design elements with the XUV300 as seen from the teaser. The future SUV concept features slimmer LED headlamps and the 7-slot Mahindra grille. The side profile has got prominent crease lines and the turbine-like alloy wheels add up to the look even more.
If we compare the Funster to the currently existing model of the XUV500, we can make out that the future SUV is offering a much mature look. We can expect the production units of the future XUV500 to be more sharp and modern compared to the first-den XUV500. FYI, the first generation of the XUV500 is almost a decade old by now!
