- The all-new BS6 compliant version of the has received an updated version of the current 1.5L petrol variant that delivers 1007hp with 170Nm of peak torque while paired to a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed AMT.

- Feature-wise the new upgrade XUV300 BS6 will come equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags, cruise control, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and the list goes on.

- The new prices for the new model are the same as its predecessor as it will be sold in four trims following W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O) which have been priced the same as before which starts from Rs 8.69 lakh and goes upto Rs 12.69 lakh ( Ex-showroom, Delhi).
- However, with this upgrade, Mahindra has also removed the W8 (O) dual-tone diesel variant from the new line-up.
- Talking about its rival the new XUV300 will actively rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, and the Ford EcoSport.
