It seems that India’s biggest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has finally decided to bejewel its upcoming baleno-based crossover with a stock CNG. Yes, a test mule of the soon-to-launch Maruti Suzuki Fronx has been spied sporting an emission testing kit in India.

The Fronx is scheduled to launch in April and will be placed as a replacement for the now-discontinued Maruti Suzuki S-cross. With that said, Maruti has already opened the booking for its upcoming baleno-based crossover. The booking amount for the Fronx has been set at ₹11,000.
- The test mule was spotted being tested near Pune clearly indicating that Maruti is planning on offering its second crossover for the Indian market right from the beginning.
- We also expect to see the new Fronx with a brand new 1.2L K-series petrol engine along with a 1.0L turbo-petrol engine.
- It is also speculated that the mileage figures on the upcoming Renault Kiger will be the highest in India.
- Talking about the styling, it takes on most of its cosmetic features from the Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Baleno launched last year.
- On the Inside, the new crossover from Maruti will carry forward features from the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

- These features include- 4 airbags, a 360-degree camera, HUD, and Suzuki’s Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system among others.
- With Its launch, the Fronx will rival the likes of the Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and the Mahindra XUV300.
- In its CNG form, The Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG will have no active rival.
