Indian automotive Industry recorded yet another great run in terms of sales, with vehicle dispatches growing by as much as 29 to 31% to 335,000-340,000 units in August. Festive Demand Preperations

While sales growth was positive for almost all segments, in the two-wheeler category, things were rather slow. Nonetheless despite high rising prices of CNG, petrol as well as diesel, the current consumer sentiment is highly motivated towards new purchases which is evident from the massive growth in sales number.

And with the global chip shortage now improving, production has been fuelled even further to make way for massive festive demand. To summarise, OEMs will now do anything to up their dispatching game so that dealers can stock up at least bestselling vehicles. So all and all, it indeed is good news for consumers as a high dispatch number directly translates to a higher fulfilment rate and low waiting period. So if you are planning to bring home your favourite car, now is the time!
