Mercedes Benz C43 AMG Starting off this list with the captain of Punjab Kings, KL Rahul. The Indian wicket-keeper/batsman has quite the taste for automobiles, which is evident by his choice of ride. He drives around in a Mercedes Benz C 43 AMG. It is powered by a twin-turbo 3 litre V6 churning out 384 BHP; and has a price tag of 74 lakhs INR, which is a great deal. Other than the Benz, he also owns a BMW X7.

Mayank Agarwal- Tata Harrier
Tata Harrier He is one of the best right-handed opening batsmen in the world and made his debut in 2018.His choice of the ride? an indigenous Tata Harrier. We are not sure which trim level he owns(most likely the XZ+). Powering the ‘Indian Land Rover’ is a 2.0 diesel engine producing just shy of 170 BHP. A smart choice by a smart player.

Chris Gayle-Lamborghini Aventador
Lamborghini Roadster roadster Chris Gayle is a name synonymous with even non-cricket fan(like me). The West Indians is one of the most physically gifted cricketers in the world. He has numerous world records to his name and even at 41 years of age, is still going strong. Like his persona, his car is also the most flamboyant on this list.A Lamborghini Aventador.
Gayle owns the roadster and has been seen driving it on numerous occasions. Powering the Italian Stallion is a massive 6.5 litre V12 producing a mind-boggling 730 BHP.
Besides the Aventador, he also owns a Bentley Continental GTC and a Mercedes Benz GL 63. He no doubts tops the Punjab Kings and their cars list. -
Nicholas Pooran- Jeep Grand Cherokee
Jeep Grand Cherokee Nicolas Pooran is one of the most up and comer batsman in the world. A prodigy, breaking school cricket records over the years, and turning up in his 20s as a blonde-haired big-hitter, Nicholas Pooran, today, has broken out as one of the many aggressive young West Indian batsmen coming up through the ranks. At just 25 years of age, he has already made a name and place for himself in the West Indies national team and cost the Punjab Kings a whopping ₹ 42,000,000!
Like his personality, his choice of commute is also larger than life. He owns a Jeep Grand Cherokee which is the flagship SUV from the American brand. We are not sure which drivetrain did he choose. Besides the Cherokee, he also has a Wrangler. A true Jeep fan i see! -
Mohammad Shami-BMW X1
BMW X1 Shami is one of the most gifted bowlers in this world; and is also known as a reverse swing specialist. Donning the 11 number jersey, he comes from a village and UP. He has stayed true to its humble beginnings and chose a first-generation BMW X1 as his choice of ride. Under the hood is a 2.0 4 cylinder engine. Nothing fancy here!

Sarfaraz Khan- Renault Duster
Renault Duster He is one of the most talented players in India. The 17-year-old plays for Mumbai in the Ranji tournament and also is part of the U-19 Indian team. Considering he is not even old enough to drive(but hey it’s India) it’s strange that he owns a car. He has a first-gen Renault Duster(the one that started the compact SUV trend in India). We are sure that after he turns 18 he will get his hands on a sweet ride.

Chris Jordan-Range Rover Sport
Range Rover Sport Christopher James Jordan is a Barbadian-born British cricketer. He is a right-arm fast bowler and a late-order right-handed batsman. He plays for Sussex County Cricket Club in domestic cricket and has played for the England Cricket Team, mostly in the shorter formats of the game. Jordan has stayed loyal to his country while choosing a car,and owns a Range Rover Sport. We are not sure which trim level he has.

Deepak Hooda-Chevrolet Cruze
A rather quirky choice. Deepak Jagbir Hooda is an Indian batsman who plays for the Baroda cricket team. He also represented India in the 2014 ICC U-19 WC and at the mere age of 19; got his first IPL contract from Rajasthan Royals. Currently representing the Punjab Kings, Hooda likes to keep a low profile. Still, he couldn’t keep us from checking out his car, the Chevrolet Cruze. One of the best Indian sedans to date, Hooda owns the second-gen. The Cruze (discontinued) was used to be considered a diesel rocketship, producing 167 bhp and was a true enthusiasts car.

Shah Rukh Khan-Dodge Kingsway 1956
Interesting car, just like his name. Disclaimer for my non-cricket readers, No! he is not the actor. Shah Rukh Khan is a 25-year-old Indian batsman who made his debut in 2018 Ranji. His choice of car is as royal as his name. He owns a 1956 Dodge Kingsway. It was made by Plymouth but was rebadged as Dodge to save on exports. It stayed in production till 1959 and was replaced by the Dodge Dart in 1960. SRK restored the car and for that, we have mad respect for him. Punjab Kings really have lavish cars.

Jhye Richardson-Ford Focus ST
Ford Focus ST Richardson is an Australian bowler who made his debut in 2015 and represents Punjab in IPL. Jhye’s choice of ride is a no-nonsense Ford Focus ST, one of the most driver-focused cars ever made. It comes either with a 2.3 eco-boost or a 2.0-litre eco-blue petrol unit. It is one of the exciting hatchbacks in the whole wide world and can sprint from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds. Ford, I beg you, please bring the ST to India!

Harpreet Brar- Maruti Suzuki Swift
The last and in this case, the least. Harpreet Brar is a left-arm orthodox bowler who, to be honest, is yet to make an impression in the cricket scene. Besides cricket, he is also an activist and was very active in the farmers’ protest. He is not a fan of cars and most likely owns a second-gen Swift. But we are sure that he does own a couple of interesting tractors!
