It’s finally the day when Tata Motors has officially unveiled the much-awaited Tata Punch. Effectively a micro SUV, the Punch will lock horns with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ignis, KUV 100 etc. The official unveiling has taken place just hours ago, and here’s everything you need to know about the Tata Punch.
-
ALFA Architecture
The Tata Punch, much like the Altroz will be built on Tata’s ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture. However, the Punch has a higher ground clearance of 187 mm and a larger boot space of about 366-litres as compared to the Altroz. And since the Punch also supports the ALFA ARC, it is likely that the vehicle will also score a 5-star safety score as and when it is tested. Safety-wise, the Punch will also get dual airbags, ISOFIX mounts, along with ABS and EBD as standard.
