In today’s featured, we are going to have a look at the top-selling car brands in India. Here you will see which car brand sold the most cars in the last month and which brand experienced the maximum growth in comparison to the same month in the previous year. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (1,46,203 Units)
Not so difficult to guess. Maruti Suzuki is leading the chart for the month of March 2021 as well. Talking about the top-selling car brands, MSIL has the lead with a sale of 1,46,203 units. You might have already gone through the list of top-selling cars for the previous month and saw that 7 out of 10 were Marutis. Be it Swift, Dzire or Brezza, all of them are leading the sales chart making MSIL the top-selling brand in India.

Hyundai Motors India Ltd. (52,600 Units)
Following Maruti is the Korean brand with a sale of 52,600 Units. Hyundai is also an absolute favourite brand among Indians. If you are an Indian and planning to buy a car, there is a very high chance that you will either buy a Maruti or you will buy a Hyundai. Although people are moving towards Tata now still Maruti and Hyundai remain at the top on the sales list.

Tata Motors (29,654 Units)
As we said, people are shifting towards Tata, this Indian brand is seeing good growth in recent times. For the month of March 2021, Tata Motors India ended up selling 29,654 units. Call it the great safety consideration or the “Make In India” sentiment, Tata Motors is selling really good in India. Will it be able to beat Maruti any day? What do you think?

Kia Motors India (19,100 Units)
With only 3 cars in their Indian lineup, Kia Motors is in fourth place for the top-selling car brands in India for the month of March 2021. Seltos is still successful in the market standing strong against the Creta. Sonet is also doing good in the market in terms of sales. Carnival, however, remains decent in terms of sales because of the fact that it is way more premium than others in the lineup. Kia is soon planning to launch a 7-seater Sonet which will be fun to watch!

Mahindra & Mahindra (16,700 Units)
While we are eagerly waiting for the new Scorpio and XUV500 to arrive, the existing cars that Mahindra still has in the market are selling in good numbers. The most masculine brand in India by far, Mahindra ended up in March 2021 with a sale of 16,700 units at the fifth place in the list of top-selling car brands in March 2021.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors (15,001 Units)
The brand which makes us miss sunroof! Toyota ended up in March 2021 with a sale of 15,001 units. Just one more than 15,000 this is a really unique figure to end the month at. If we consider the sales of Toyota in March 2020, we see a YoY growth of over 113%! Well, that’s a great number we suppose.

Renault India (12,356 Units)
With the launch of the new Kiger, Renault has also stepped up their game of car sales in India. Although they ended up in March 2021 at seventh place, 12,356 units is a very impressive number considering its Renault. While Kwid and other cars in the lineup continue to sell well, Kiger has really made Renault step their game up.

Ford India (7,746 Units)
How do you like the new EcoSport SE? Do let us know in the comments section below. Well, EcoSport continues to be the bestseller for Ford as of now in India. For March 2021, they couldn’t touch the 10k figure. Ford India ended up March 2021 with a sale of 7,746 units.

Honda Cars India (7,103 Units)
In ninth place is Honda Cars India. Although they have discontinued the CRV and the CIvic, they continue to sell the other cars that were there in their Indian lineup. Honda ended the last month with a sale of 7,103 units which is relatively good. Talking about the YoY figures, the automaker has seen over 120% growth!

Morris Garages India (5,528 Units)
Last but not least, MG India is in tenth place. With a sale of 5,528 units and a YoY sale growth of 264%! This is a really great number considering we have only 4 cars in the MG India lineup. While Hector and Hector Plus continue to do good in the market, Gloster still needs to pace up! Well, seeing the growth this year, we can say MG will grow further for sure!
