Toyota Innova Crysta which was revealed earlier this month to be BS6 complaint will not be bringing its 2.8 Litre diesel engine to the market on its February 2020 launch. Other variants are not going anywhere and will be available to purchase.
The diesel variants which are confirmed are 2.7-litre and 2.4-litre engines and will feature both automatic and manual transmission, unlike the BS4 version.

Toyota Innova Crysta | Engine Specifications
- The current Innova Crysta engine provides a torque of 343Nm with 147.8 bhp.
- It comes in both AMT and manual option.
- With new BS6 emission norms, the current efficiency of 13.68km/l will drop.
- BS4 model of the car which has the 2.8 L diesel comes with a 6-speed automatic which will now come along with the 2.4 L variant.
The BS6 diesel option of Innova Crysta has been priced between Rs 16.14 lakh and Rs 24.06 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi.
