The Grand i10 Nios is not only good on power but also delivers excellent fuel efficiency. It has an ARAI rated mileage of 20.3kmpl. The best part? The price for this underrated hatch is ₹7,70,050 (Ex-Showroom New Delhi).

    The 1.0-litre TSI engine powers the VW Polo. It is capable of churning out 108.3hp @5,000-5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 175 Nm @1,750-4,000rpm. VW Polo was the first-ever turbo petrol to enter the Indian market, way before it became a trend. This engine is the most powerful one in the segment. Though not as fuel-efficient as the Nios Turbo, it still manages to clock 18.24kms in a single litre of fuel. The price starts at ₹8,02,300.

Tata Altroz might get the 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engine capable of churning out 100hp of power and a peak torque of 144 Nm of peak torque.

This engine can churn out a power of 98.63hp of power @6,000rpm and a peak torque of 171.6Nm @1,500-4,000rpm. It is the same engine that the company also offers in the Grand i10 Nios Turbo. You will have to spend ₹8,54,900 for this turbocharged compact sedan.

It has a fuel efficiency of 18.97kmpl, which makes it a Value for Money sedan. It is the best in the segment sedan with features right from the base variant which comes with a price tag of ₹7,49,000.

To get the power on the road the car comes equipped with a 7-speed DSG gearbox with paddle shifters enhancing the sporty appeal even further. The starting price for this premium sports sedan has been set at ₹35,99,000.
