This year marked the 15th edition of the Auto Expo which was recently held in Delhi. With that said one of India’s largest carmaker, Tata Motors showcased a new range of cars which are all set to hit Indian roads in the coming months. Not only that tata also showcased its most iconic Sierra SUV which might also make a comeback sometime this year.
The brand is also planning to expand its EV line-up with the all-new Altroz EV. So, let’s have a look at the 4 upcoming tata cars all set to launch this year.

Tata Gravitas
Expected Launch- August 2020
Tata Motors has already confirmed that they will surely roll out the Gravitas SUV before the beginning of 2020 festive season and it will be offered in a 6 and 7-seats configurations and will actively rival the likes of the MG Hector Plus.
The all-new 7 seater SUV will be based on the company’s newly designed OMEGA ARC platform and will also share its powertrain with the Tata Harrier. Under its hood, the Gravitas will support a 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine compliant to the BS6 emission norms capable of producing 170hp with 350Nm of peak torque.

Tata Harrier Petrol
Expected Launch- September
Next up on the list of 4 upcoming tata cars and supposedly the most awaited of them all is a petrol variant of tata most sold SUV the Harrier and will come equipped with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged fuel injected unit capable of generating 150hp.
The engine will come paired to a an automatic transmission only with paddle shifters and an additional ‘Sport’ mode.

Tata Hexa (Safari Edition)
Expected Launch- November
The rugged Tata Hexa safari edition was first showcased at the recently held Auto Expo 2020. Under its hood, this rugged SUV will come powered by a 2.2L, 4-cylinder ‘Varicor’ turbocharged diesel engine capable of generating a mere 1.9hp more than the previous BS4 compliant version. Additionally, it will also continue to hold its 4X4 drivetrain system.

Tata Altroz Turbo Petrol
Expected Launch- Unknown
Last up on the list of 4 upcoming tata cars is the turbo petrol variant of its ultra-premium hatchback the Altorz and will come equipped with a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine pushing the maximum power output to 100.5hp with 140Nm of peak torque.
The engine on the new turbocharged Altroz will come paired to a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
