   The first car on our list from the brand known for its fastest cars around the globe is, Bugatti. The Chiron Supersport 300+ literally does 300+ on the track and managed to reach 304mph. It goes from 0-60 in 2.2 seconds, and it reached this top speed on Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessien test track. It churns out 1600hp. Despite that, it does not officially hold the world record, as it did a single run in one direction for whatever reason undisclosed by the brand.

2. Hennessey Venom F5
   

   The second car on our list is the Venom F5 by Hennessey; it is powered by a 6.6-litre twin turbo lump that churns out 1817hp and 1617Nm torque. It goes from 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds. The Venom F5 has a top speed of 272mph but this American beast can go faster, and Hennessey might get over 300mph with this old-fashioned V8.

3. SSC Tuatara
   

   Another American beast goes from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 286mph. It is the SSC Tuatara( Too-ah-ta-ra) with the exotic name that brings about controversy. SSC claimed that the Tuatara managed to hit 316mph in October 2020, making it the world’s fastest car. But later, they admitted to a GPS error that depicted the speed wrongly.

   As the world moves towards electric cars, we have some fast ones as well. The Rimac Nevera is among the fastest cars, with instant acceleration due to the torque of the electric motors. This electric hypercar produces 1914hp and 2300Nm torque and is powered by four electric motors. It has a top speed of 258mph but a ballistic 0-60mph time of 1.9 seconds. It is almost entirely made of carbon fiber, which helps keep the weight down and accelerate better.

5. McLaren Speedtail
   

   The next car on our list is the McLaren Speedtail, which, although it was not built to set records, is the fastest road car ever made with a top speed of 250mph. It is faster than the brand’s previous legendary car, the McLaren F1. Its sleek design with sleek bodywork is very futuristic.

6. Koenigsegg Regera
   

   We have another old-school V8 with an added electric motor from the Swedish brand Koenigsegg. The Regera churns out 1500hp with a top speed of 250mph but the unique thing is that it can go up to 250mph in just one gear. You can cruise along at the highest speed without upshifting!

   The next car on the list is the Aston Martin Valkyrie, you might be familiar with the Aston Martin Vulcan. It is also among the fastest cars, but the difference is that the Valkyrie is road legal. It appears to be a full-blown racing car with a 6.5-litre hybrid V12 under the hood churning out 1160hp. It goes from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds and weighs just over a ton.

The Huayra is one of the fastest cars that they offer; it is made of carbon fiber and covered in active aero to improve aerodynamics. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 engine that churns out 740hp and 1000Nm torque with a top speed of 238mph and a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds.

9. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

10. Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
    

    For the last car on the list, we have another candidate from Koenigsegg, the Jesko Absolut. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 1280hp on normal fuel but a massive 1600hp on E85 racing fuel. It has a 0-60mph time of 2.5 seconds. The brand has yet to test the top speed, but the predictions suggest that it might go up to 310mph.
