You might have heard of DC designs. Right? Well if you haven’t here’s a little insight. DC Design is and to our knowledge the only popular car design houses in India. The DC design house is owned by none other than DC a.k.a Dilip Chhabria.

Very few know that Dilip Chhabria is a very well known style guru when it comes to remodelling or revamping a car. With that said let’s have a look at some of the beauties this car guru owns.

1. BMW X6M

   The BMW X6M is considered to be one of the best performance based car in BMW’s entire “M” range segment. Here we can see the Styling guru Dilip Chhabria driving a metallic blue BMW X6M at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida. With its unique segmentation, the BMW X6M features 4.2 litres, eight-cylinder petrol engine which pushes the power output to 575hp/750Nm at 6000 to 6500 and 2200 to 5000 RPM respectively.

   

   That’s not all the Dilip Chhabria’s X6M also gets a custom made M-specific 8-speed Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic gearbox. This menace with a booty can do 0-100km in a matter of 4.2 seconds which seems to be quite imposing, but who’s questioning. Right!

2. DC Avanti

   As well all the DC Avanti is India’s very own homegrown sports car designed by our very own Dilip Chhabria. The DC Avanti supports a Ford sourced 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged engine generating a maximum output of 250hp and 366 Nm of torque which tends to kick in at as low at 2000 Rpm. The DC Avanti comes matted to a 6-speed manual gearbox and also features an ABS+EBD which seems to be a pretty impressive feature in a Made In India product.

   

   To some eyes, Dilip Chhabria’s Avanti can be considered as a failed attempt to bring in the big guns. Although it’s quick and easy to drive the Avanti comes with a ground clearance of 170mm which gives the car a longer stance and easy to manoeuvre on speed bumps if. 3. Mercedes-Benz S-Class S320 CDI

   The Mercedes-Benz S-class is considered as one of the classics which can never lose its value in the nearing future maybe that’s the reason it is one of the everyday cars for the Indian MOD-GOD Dilip Chhabria. Chhabria’s luxury saloon comes equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 engine producing a power output of 210hp and 490 Nm torque.

   

   The Mercedes-Benz S-Class S320 CDI comes mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox which eventually making the car fun to drive. Rumour also has it that when Dilip Chhabria doesn’t feel like driving, his luxury saloon becomes a chauffeur-driven chariot for the Indian Mod-God.

4. Aston Martin Vanquish

   The Aston Martin Vanquish is Aston Martin’s 2-door couple which is inspired by the company’s One-77 creation. Just a fun fact Dilip Chhabria a.k.a DC was approached by Aston Martin to build a custom prototype of the Aston Martin Vantage V8 which was eventually showcased at the Detroit Motor Show.

   

   This one of its class grande tourer catches up to be one of the most expensive sports segment vehicles in India and stands at a price of Rs. 4.7 crores. Dilip Chhabria’s Vanquish supports a 5.9-litre V12 engine producing a maximum power of 568hp and can do upto 324km/h and if that not impressive enough. The Engine on the Aston Martin comes mated to an 8-speed gearbox with a shift lapse of 130 milliseconds – Now that’s lightning fast.

5. Porsche 911 Turbo S

   The Porsche 911 turbo S is known to us for being one of the best track racers built by Porsche. Like father like son DC’s son Bonito is also following the exact footsteps of his father and is also quite known as an avid car lover and owns a turbo S which hit India shores in Early 2017.

   

   On the Mechanical front, the 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing a power output of 444 bhp and 530 Nm of torque. Bonito’s southern beauty is capable of doing 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is considered to be the fastest flagship sports car ever built.

6. Audi R8 Spyder

   Another Jewel in the Chhabria clan is the Audi R8 Spyder duly owned by Chhabria junior. Bonito drives a 2012 Audi R8 Spyder convertible. The spyder adds another string in its bow with a 4.2-litre V8 engine capable of pushing the power output to 420hp and can boost form a standstill to 100km/h in just a matter of 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 299 km/h.

   

   The R8 Spyder is nothing short of sensational to drive. Moreover, the FWD on the R8 Spyder offers great a ferocious grip on the acceleration front. But don’t get provoked as the rear-biased system delivers similar handling to that of an RWD ( Rear wheel drive).

7. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

   Observing the building passions for roadsters the Dilip Chhabria also owns a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG which was first introduced at the 2012 Auto Expo. Dilip Chhabria’s Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG packs a massive 6.3-litre V8 engine delivering an up-paralleled performance with a 563hp and 650 Nm of torque with a top speed of 317 km/h.

   

   The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is capable of doing 0-100 km/h in a matter of 3.8 seconds. This two-seater roadster comes packed with features and aggressive looks with pop-up side doors allowing easy access without having to squeeze oneself to get into the compact sports car.
