Hyderabad based even startup Pure EV has recently launched its first high-speed all-electric scooter the ‘EPluto 7G’. According to the company’s press release, the all-electric scooter was launched at a starting price of Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom).
Wondering what’s so special about the EPluto 7G well, get ready to be blown as the company offers a battery warranty of 40,000 km. The EPluto 7G can also do a top speed of 60kmph which for an all-electric scooter is not that bad.

S.K Saraswat, Member, NITI Aayog, and one of the members of the launch committee said “The company is not only looking at the vehicular aspect, but also the supply chain. The value addition being done is very high by the startup and is highly commendable.”
The company also said that the entire unit has been designed and developed after factoring to the Indian terrain and weather conditions. As of now, the company holds a manufacturing capacity of over 2,000 units per month and they aim at deploying over 10,000 Electric Vehicles on Indian roads by the end of 2020.
The company has also acquired over 40,000- sq.ft state-of-the-art facility, co-located with IIT Hyderabad for R&D purposes along with the large scale production of the EPluto 7G.
Well, this year’s Auto Expo also revolved around the theme of clean and green mobility and with that said we can expect to see more and more manufacturers entering the said segment and we did see some new faces at the auto Expo showcasing their eco-friendly products.
