The Lamborghini Vision Gran Turismo was unveiled at the finals of the Gran Turismo Championship in Monte Carlo where a real-life version of the supercar was displayed for the public.
Despite being just a virtual model, the Lamborghini Vision Gran Turismo features an 820hp hybrid V12 powertrain. The outlandish single-seat futuristic design plays with the aerodynamics. The Vision Gran Turismo was originally designed like any other Lamborghini at the Centro Stile in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
Sadly, unlike any other traditional concepts, the Lamborghini Vision Gran Turismo project is not intended to preview any production model and has been treated as an opportunity for designers to explore future themes.
Lamborghini has also stated that the single-seater draws on the “historic Lamborghini design DNA, expanding its potential design language in a much futuristic way.” The carmaker says that much of the styling was influenced by and for the sake of aerodynamic efficiency.0
