This is one of the most anticipated car launches, with a vast audience waiting for the SUV, and Maruti has already received over 25,000 bookings. The 5-door Jimny will be announced on June 7. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine making 103hp and 134Nm torque mated to a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT. It is also equipped with Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4X4 system to help tackle offroading experiences.

BMW M2

The BMW M2 is one of the sportiest cars from the manufacturer; you cannot talk about performance sedans without considering this beast. It’s second generation will be launched in India this June. It will be powered by a 3.0-litre twin turbo with an inline-six configuration that churns out 460hp and 550Nm torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed AT.

Volkswagen Taigun & Virtus Manual

Volkswagen has launched limited editions for its SUV Taigun and sedan Virtus. Taigun has two new variants, and Virtus has another new trim. These will be available from June 2023 onward. They feature special exterior paint jobs as a part of VW’s new GT Edge Limited Collection. They will be available in limited numbers.

Mercedes-AMG SL55

The last car on our list is another performance sedan. The Mercedes AMG SL 55 will be making a comeback to the Indian market after 12 years. It will be launched on June 22 and powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 469hp and 700Nm torque paired to a 9-speed AT with a top speed of 295kmph.
