A board of 86 automotive columnists from all over the globe, which consists of 6 members from India, has selected the finalists by confidential poll based on their evaluation of each car and poll results. KPMG has tabulated the results of the poll for finalists. However, final winners from all the 5 categories will be declared on 8th of April, 2020.
Earlier it was planned that winners should be announced in International Auto Show, New York. Additionally, World Car Person of the year has been awarded to Carlos Tavares. He will also receive the award on 8th of April, 2020.
