With the 2022 Baleno, Maruti Suzuki has launched a new design language for future Nexa cars. They call it ‘Crafted Futurism’, which focuses on making the design Bold, Sleek, Aggressive and Expressive. The car gets more cuts and creases and a bit more attention to detail on the body. It gets an all-LED treatment for the lighting set-up. The new design certainly looks appealing, and it will attract a lot of buyers.

The new Baleno gets a host of new features onboard. At the centre of the car sits a new 9-inch Smart Play Pro Plus, HD infotainment screen. The speakers are powered by ARKAMYS Sound, for a better experience. One can also customize the voice assist with your own name, for a more personalized experience. The Baleno also gets a host of connected car features with the Suzuki Connect Tech. This can be accessed with both Smartphones and Smartwatches, it will also be compatible with Alexa devices. The 2022 Baleno gets 2 first in class features- a 360-Degree Camera and a Heads-Up Display unit!

Engine & Transmission
The engine continues to be the 1.2L Petrol engine that we’ve been seeing for the past few years. Maruti has made it more efficient and more environment-friendly though. The transmission line-up has changed a bit. There are 2 options in gearboxes- a 5-Speed Manual or a 5-Speed AMT. Yes, the CVT has been ditched for this one.

Baleno Sigma seems to be a great choice! However, you can also have a look at the Tata Altroz once as it is safer and sturdier.
