January 2021 is over and we are already done with the brand sale stats. In today’s featured, we are going to have a look at the top 10 best selling cars in January 2021. If you have read yesterday’s report, you might know that Maruti Suzuki has sold the maximum cars in the last month so it is not difficult to guess that in the list of top 10 selling cars for January 2021, MSIL will be having the majority. You’ve read the title so you know that Alto has been the top seller last month. Let’s start our list and have a look at who all followed!
Maruti Suzuki Alto (18,260 units)
India’s favourite family hatch- the Maruti Suzuki Alto is leading the sales chart this time with a sale of 18,260 units. This means that this hatch has experienced a YoY fall of about 3.4% because, in January 2020, Alto recorded a sale of 18,914 units. As always, we will definitely say that people need to re-think their decision of buying this hatch. Safety is a huge issue within itself but its high time that Maruti needs to give it a facelift.
Maruti Suzuki Swift (17,180 units)
Maruti’s Swift is in second place among the top 10 best selling cars in January 2021. With a sale of 17,180 units this time Swift has also experienced a YoY drop. If we compare this drop to Alto, this one is huge! Swift has suffered a 14.1% drop in comparison to what it sold in the same month last year. Swift has been a top-seller for MSIL for months but now we always see Alto stepping up in the game! It will be fun to see how things go in the future.

Beating its competitors, like always, Baleno is way ahead of Altroz and i20! Not surprising anymore, we are not seeing Glanza in the list anytime soon now.
