Bill Gates & His Mouth Watering Car Collection!

Imagine yourself being a multi-millionaire and then suddenly splitting your paths with your partner. Along with all the money that you will have to share, there are some assets too that you might not like to share. We are talking about a man’s dear possessions, his cars. In today’s featured, we are going to take you through Bill Gates’ cars and you decide which one would have been the most difficult ‘let go car’ for him. Let’s get started!

  1. Porsche 911

The first car on our list is a 1979 Porsche 911. Bill Gates doesn’t own this car as of now because it was auctioned in Austria in 2012 for $80,000. This 911 needed a mention because this was the early day ride that Gates used to commute to Microsoft when the company was based in Albuquerque. Sources say that he liked to drive this car really fast on the desert roads and for this, he even got 3-speed tickets and had to go to jail once in 1997!

Another Porsche from Bill Gates’ cars! This was among the most technologically advanced car in the world in the 80s. This had a powerful twin-turbo flat-six engine under the hood that generated 444Hp and 500Nm! Do you know what was its 0-100 timing? Well, it was way under 4 seconds! Another important fact about this one is that only 337 units were produced worldwide!! No surprise this was owned by the one who is among the richest people in the world.

Old but gold! Ferrari 348 is another car among Bill Gates’ cars which we definitely need to mention. Gates travelled by this car in the sands so much so that it became popular as the ‘Dune Buggy’. This was another limited edition car where only 8000 units were produced between 1989-1995.

  4. Porsche Taycan

While the world is switching to electric, Bill Gates has done that in style too! He owns a Porsche Taycan which is all-electric and was showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015. The Taycan Turbo has a price tag almost double what the Tesla Model S holds! You would need to spend around $150,000 if you want to own this car. Quite expected from Bill Gates as he loves fast machine, this one also goes from 0-100 in just 3 seconds!

  5. Ford Focus

Surprising but true. Not everyone likes to drive fast sportscars every day to work right? Bill Gates also owns a Focus and used to travel it to work in 2018 during his last days at Microsoft. FYI, Ford Focus is a good car and has also got decent sales in the markets it exists in. We hope Ford comes to India as soon as possible!

  6. Bombardier BD-700 Global Express [BONUS]

We know we were supposed to talk about Bill Gates’ cars but we couldn’t control ourselves from listing down this $40Million worth private plane which is capable of seating 19 people at once and is definitely a thing that can be owned by the riches only. Bill Gates has got another one in his garage. The Gulfstream G650 private jet is worth $65 Million and Gates owns two of them. Known as the Rolls Royce of jet engines, we don’t think we need to tell you more about how luxurious and powerful this bird is!

This was a peek into Bill Gates cars and ofcourse his private jets! Do let us know in the comments section below which one do you like the most and which would be the most painful one to let go for you? Share this article with all the Microsoft users and let them know what the software god owns!
