Tata-owned luxury powerhouse Land Rover is back with a bang with the all-new Range Rover Evoque is set to break cover in India on the 30th of January. Well the sad part is that it almost an year for the company to launch the same model in India.
it clearly seems that Land Rover has made the best use of the platform for the updated second-generation Range Rover Evoque. Land Rover has also developed the powertrain keeping the future electrification in mind.

However, the India spec-model will feature JLR’s BS6 compliant Ingenium petrol and diesel engine. The diesel engine will be a 2.0-litre, four cylinder turbo-diesel engine pushing the power output to 180hp and 430 Nm of Torque. On the other hand the 2.0-litre, four cylinder turbo-petrol engine will generate a maximum power of 249hp.
Eventually the power will be then transferred to all four wheels via the 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Feature wise on the Outside, the Evoque seems to have taken its inspiration from the cousin the Range rover Velar which has resulted the Range Rover Evoque to receive an all new front grille and headlight design, On the sides the Evoque retains its old silhouette along with tampering roofline and a rising beltline. Overall the Evoque looks a lot sleeker than its predecessors.
On the inside, the Range Rover Evoque supports a much more luxurious interior than the outgoing models. This clearly means that it will include a digital instrument cluster, an all new dual-screen layout with one control infotainment system. Additional features in the inside include climate control and automatic seat adjust.
With its launch the Evoque will the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, the Audi Q5 and the Volvo XC60. the expected price on the evoque can be expected to range between Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
