How The Tata Nexon Recorded Highest Monthly Sales?

Tata recorded the highest sales for their compact SUV Nexon in December 2021. The previous year was promising for the carmaker and their contender in the compact SUV rivalry. It also beat the Hyundai Venue in September 2021 for once.

Nexon has been around since 2017 and received updates in 2020. It is an affordable pick with a 5-star NCAP rating in the segment. It offers two powerful engine options, a spacious interior, and a high seating position. Let’s look at the way Nexon reached these heights:

• Nexon Among The Top 10
  

  

  It made its way in the top 10 most selling cars in December 2021. Tata sold 12,899 units of the compact SUV and established a record. Tata also beat Hyundai in overall sales and earned the second position just after Maruti Suzuki.

  Since the facelift in 2020, it has consistently performed well and increased its sales. In June 2021, it also became the second most selling compact SUV overtaking Sonet, Venue & Ecosport. After that, the number has only gone up among its other siblings.

• Nexon Crossed 1 Lakh Sales
  

  

  This shows how excellent & well accepted their product is and marks the crossing of a significant milestone. After the previous year’s sales, the overall number has reached 108,577 units sold.

  After the hike in fuel prices and positive feedback received, a CNG version is also in development. Along with its siblings, Nexon is to get a CNG powered variant that might increase sales furthermore.

  Tata’s candidate has served a promising performance, with more than 6,000 units sold every month. This accounts for significant growth as compared to the previous year. The following quarterly numbers speak for themselves:

  Tata also launched a dark version of Nexon & Altroz inspired by the elder sibling Harrier. While the CNG variants are under development, flex-fuel variants might also be in the works with a generation update next year.
