It’s been more than a couple of years with Mahindra XUV300 is there in its company’s portfolio. But it still exists here for a reason. To begin with, the XUV300 is based on the Sangyyong Tivoli which in itself is a potent vehicle. That said, Mahindra gave the SUV subtle changes to suit India.

But in that process, the engineers never compromised with the vehicle. XUV300 gets a potent and powerful engine with both automatic as well as a manual gearbox. Also, it is the safest “Made in India” car. With all these qualities intact, the engineers never compromised on features as it comes with a few first in segment gizmos.

This is because this SUV offers a lot more than what you are paying for. Starting with features, it gets all the latest tech like wireless charger, air purifier and some are first in segment example, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But keeping that aside, Duster in itself is a reliable and masterpiece. If taken care this SUV can last more than 1.5 lakh kilometres without breaking a sweat. This also had to do with the perfect suspension setup.

Also, it’s a small thing but worth mentioning, that Renault Duster is the only car that comes with hydraulic hood (bonnet) struts. Next coming to the interesting stuff, Duster’s powertrain and drivetrain. Just before the BS6 norms, Duster came with an AWD drivetrain. This gave the car go-anywhere characteristic.
