And when it comes to millionaire Yohan Poonawalla’s exotic car collection, exceptional is an understatement. The Chairman and MD of Poonawalla Engineering Group, and the cousin brother of serum giant Adar Poonawalla, is known for having a garage full of premium, exotic and even classic vehicles. With custom engravings of “YZP”, Yohan Poonawalla’s vehicles are a joy to experience. So here are 10 cool cars from the YZP collection.

1. Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta
   

   

   Those who happen to follow Yohan on Instagram know that the business tycoon has a soft corner for Ferraris. One of the many Ferraris he owns is a limited edition Speciale Aperta. Powered by a 4.5-litre V8 NA engine, the Aperta can punch a maximum power of 597 Bhp with a peak torque of 540 Nm. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds! Poonawalla owns 1 of only 49 RHD units ever made.

2. Ferrari Portofino
   

   

   Another Ferrari from the YZP collection, the Portofino is an “entry-level Ferrari” that retails for around Rs 3.5 crore (We know how you’re feeling). The convertible is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol burner that punches out a maximum power of 598 Bhp with a peak torque of 760 Nm, doing 0-100 in 3.5 seconds.

3. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
   

   

   Taking a temporary break from Ferraris, Yohan Poonawalla also happens to own the SLS AMG, which was the Mercedes flagship model it was replaced with the AMG-GTR. Known for its Gull-wing doors, the vehicle has a 6.2-litre bi-turbo V8 engine at heart that generates 563 Bhp of power with 650 Nm of peak torque. Capable of a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.7, the supercar can reach speeds of up to 317 km/h.

4. Rolls Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe (DHC)

   

   As we told you before, Poonawalla has a respectable taste when it comes to cars. That’s the reason why Yohan Poonawalla owns two exotic Phantom Drop Head Coupes (6.75 Litre V12). Moneywise, they were the most pricy RR when they were first introduced. Poonawalla owns one in black and one in white YZP Phantom DHC, both of which were bought pre-owned. 5. Rolls Royce Phantom VII Mansory

   

   Studded with Mansory customization, the RR Phantom VII Mansory is a badass luxury vehicle that is a dream of many. Powered by a customized 7.5-litre engine that churns 551 HP of power and 810 Nm of torque, the Phantom VII Mansory also gets a custom exhaust system.

   

6. Mercedes Benz 190 SL Roadster

   

   A classic roadster from Mercedes, the 190 SL is often dubbed as one of the best designs from Mercedes back then. Powered by a 1.9-litre straight-four engine, the SL produces 104 Bhp with 142 Nm of torque. The classic is cherished by the businessman and is often shared on Instagram as well.

7. Lamborghini Gallardo SE
   

   

   You must have seen this Lamborghini wrapped in chrome but it is back to the original yellow shade. This Lamborghini Gallardo special edition is a limited edition car that was introduced in 2005. Only 250 units of these were ever made.

8. Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 2
   

   

   Coming to vintage beauties, YZP owns several vintage and classic cars. The one on the right is a classic built between 1959 and 1962. A total of only 2,417 units were built, making the RR classic extremely special. The one on the left, however, is even more special. This Silver Cloud 2 is super rare as only 258 units of these were ever built. This is an LWB version of the Silver Cloud that proudly sits in the YZP garage.

9. Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
   

   

   Coming back to Ferraris, Yohan Poonawalla happens to be one of the very first owners of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta here in India. The machine is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine. The Berlinetta is known for its extreme exhaust note and a supremely powerful engine.

10. Ferrari 488 Pista Spider
    

    

    Last but surely not least, is the Ferrari 488 Pisa Spider, which happens to be Poonawalla latest obsession. The Ferrari comes powered by a 3.9-litre V8 engine that gets twin-turbochargers as well. With a max power of 720 Bhp and a peak torque of 770 Nm, the Pisa Spider can sprint 0-100 Kmph in just 2.85 seconds!
