5 Mahindra Cars at the 2020 Auto Expo that you need to checkout!

Mahindra will have one heck of a stall at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. Despite the scant attendance of many major car manufacturers, the desi carmaker isn’t shy to flaunt their upcoming offerings. From BS6 complaint to electric cars, Mahindra has them all. Let’s take a look at top 5 Mahindra cars at the upcoming Auto Expo.

  1. 2020 Mahindra Scorpio

    Kickstarting the list is the next-gen Mahindra Scorpio. This time, the Scorpio will be based on a brand new platform (same as the new Thar). The 2020 Mahindra Scorpio will now feature a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre 4 cylinder diesel engine, that will produce 160 bhp and 400 nm of torque. Available with a manual or an automatic transmission, the 2020 Scorpio might also debut in a petrol variant.

  2. 2020 Mahindra XUV500

    Yes! you might get to see the all-new Mahindra XUV500 at display at the 2020 Auto Expo. The XUV500 will feature some brand new changes both on the exterior and the interior. The 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will also get a new BS6 compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine with 185 bhp. Similar to the 2020 Scorpio, the XUV500 might also come with a 2.0-litre petrol engine with two gearboxes as an option; a 6-speed automatic and an automatic.

  3. Mahindra eKUV100

    The eKUV100 or KUV electric has been confirmed by Mahindra and will make its debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. The eKUV will be the cheapest electric vehicle in India. Equipped with a 15.9kWh lithium-ion battery powering the 40kW electric motor that will generate 53 bhp and 120 nm of torque from a standstill. The eKUV will feature a FWD or Front-Wheel-Drive configuration with a single-speed gearbox. The Range is expected to deliver 120 kms on a single charge. The eKUV electric mini SUV will also come with fast charging capability.

  4. Mahindra XUV400

    The perfect compact-SUV sitting conveniently between the XUV300 and the XUV500 will be the all-new Mahindra XUV400. Mahindra is very likely to showcase the XUV400 at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo. The XUV400 will be based on Ford’s mini SUV platform sharing the engine with the Mahindra Marazzo (1.5-litre diesel). The XUV400 might also feature a 1.2 litre or a 1.5-litre petrol engine.

  5. 2020 Mahindra Thar

    The 2020 Thar will take its place alongside the 2020 Scorpio in Mahindra’s pavilion at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. The new Thar will bring along a host of new features on the inside and the outside as well as some welcoming safety features. The 2020 Mahindra Thar will get a new Bharat Stage 6 compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine churning a good 140 ps. The 2020 Thar will be made available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

  6. [BONUS] Mahindra XUV300 Electric

    Another electric car by Mahindra making its way will be the XUV300 electric. The XUV300 electric will be offered in two variants; a standard and a long-range variant. The long-range variant will come with a 40kWh lithium-ion battery powering an electric motor churning 130 bhp. The XUV300 electric standard and long-range will be able to deliver a range of 200 kms and 300 kms respectively.
