A week back GoMechanic reported that MG Motors India’s second offering and first all-electric vehicle; The MG ZS EV has been officially listed on their website. Now, the official launch details have been revealed for this upcoming electric SUV.

MG ZS Electric SUV Launch Details
As per an official statement by MG, the ZS EV will be revealed to the Indian market. The ZS EV will only be made available in these 5 cities in India; Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The bookings for the MG ZS EV will start from 5th December 2019 whereas the official launch of the car has been slated on January 2020.

The MG ZS EV will be priced in the range of ₹20 to ₹25 lakhs and will rival the likes of the Hyundai Kona EV and the Nissan Leaf Electric in India.
The all-electric synchronous motor on the MG EV SUV churns out 150PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The ZS EV uses a 45.6kWh battery pack promising a range of up to 428 kms in a single charge.
The EV can charge from zero to 80% in just thirty minutes using its propriety AC fast-charging system. The ZS SUV will also be offered in petrol and a hybrid avatar sometime later in India.

Dimensions of this EV are 4314 mm in length, 1809 mm in width, 1620 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2579 mm.
Inside, the EV features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth audio and telephony, rearview parking and more.
MG Motors India in partnership with Fortum India is setting up fast-charging points across 5 cities in India.
