And since affordability is a subjective term, for the sake of convenience we have set the affordability threshold to 20 lakhs; an average price for top-end SUV variants these days.
Starting off our list is the Kia Sonet; one of the most affordable vehicles that is offered with ventilated seats. The feature is restricted to the front seats and is on offer on the GTX+ and the HTX+ variants. In terms of pricing, the HTX+ starts from Rs. 11.85 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom) while the GTX+ starts from Rs. 12.29 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The ventilated seats feature onboard the Sonet allows for 3-level cooling with no heating option.
Creta’s long-running rival the Kia Seltos is another great SUV that comes with ventilated seats. Much like its cheaper sibling, the feature onboard the Seltos too is available in the GTX+ and the HTX+ variants. Talking about the money the GTX+ starts from Rs. 15.59 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom) while the HTX+ starts at Rs. 16.49 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). In the Seltos as well the feature is restricted only to the front seats, with 3-way cooling and no heating.
One of India’s best-selling SUV, the Hyundai Creta is an absolute heartthrob. Topped with ample modern features, the Creta also bring in Ventilated Seats on the SX (O) variant. The ventilated seats onboard the Creta too is restricted to the front row and starts at Rs. 16.48 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) for petrol and Rs. 17.48 Lakhs for the Diesel.
Another gem from Hyundai Motors, the Hyundai Verna is a bad-boy sedan that comes with several top-notch features with front row ventilated seats being one of them. The feature comes in handy during the hot summer months and goes well with Verna’s overall comfort. The feature is available in SX (O) and SX (O) Turbo variants that are priced at Rs. 12.75 Lakhs and Rs. 14.08 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom)
Looks like Hyundai is on a roll because the Elantra is another superb offering by Hyundai that offers front row cooling/ventilation. The feature is available on the SX (O) version which has prices starting from Rs. 19.95 Lakhs, making the Elantra the most expensive sedan on our list. But the Elantra is such a great vehicle that each penny spend seems worth it.
Morris Garages has had a great run in the Indian market so far. And the Hector is one of MG’s best offering for India. The Hector offers a lot in its package, including front row ventilation that is available in its Sharp variant that comes with 1.5L petrol DCT, 1.5L mild-hybrid petrol MT, and 2.0L diesel MT. In terms of pricing, the range lies between Rs. 17.37 to Rs. 18.85 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom)
MG Hector Plus
The 6 and 7 seater version of the Hector, the MG Hector Plus impresses with some super cool features such as front row ventilated seats. The feature is available in the Sharp trim, which on the Hector Plus is offered with 1.5-litre Hybrid petrol, 1.5-litre petrol CVT and 2.0 litre manual Diesel. Price-wise, the Sharp variants are available from Rs. 18.12 Lakhs to Rs. 19.60 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom)
