10 Cars at Auto Expo 2020 priced between ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh

With Auto Expo 2020 due next month, let’s have a look at the cars coming which will be in the price bracket of ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh. Let’s start.

  1. Škoda Vision IN Concept

    The Czech automaker will be revealing the Vision IN concept which will give a hint about the upcoming compact SUV that will go sale in the year 2021. The SUV looks more robust and eye-catchy than any Škoda offering till now. The bold grille with split headlamps, large vents and a sturdy skid plate adds to the bolder looks. The ‘Škoda’ lettering is the same which can be seen nowadays. You can expect the production-spec SUV to look similar to the concept with some minor adjustments.
    The SUV will have a petrol option only and may have the CNG option at a later stage. It will lock horns with the likes of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. It is expected to be priced around ₹10 lakh.

  2. Škoda Rapid

    This won’t be a new-gen Rapid. Rather it will be an upgrade to the BS6-compliant engine. The sedan will be powered by the all-new 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine which will churn out 113.4hp with a peak torque of 200 Nm. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The sedan is expected to be priced between ₹10 lakh to ₹14 lakh.

  3. Škoda Karoq

    The 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbocharged petrol engine powered mid-sized SUV is expected to go on sale after the event. It will be racing against the Jeep Compass and the Hyundai Tucson. In terms of design, it looks quite similar to the Kodiaq.

  4. Volkswagen T-ROC

    The VW group is launching a line-up of SUVs which also includes the T-ROC which will be going against the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos. Although it will a more premium coupe-like styled SUV.

  5. Tata Gravitas

    The much-awaited 7-seater Harrier will be launched at the auto show. Named Gravitas, the SUV will be underpinning the Harrier in terms of design, features as well as the engine. The longer SUV is also going to get a 6-speed automatic gearbox in addition to the 6-speed manual one as the option.
    You can expect that Gravitas will have more or less the same features as that of the Harrier. Tata SUV is expected to be priced between ₹15 lakh to ₹19 lakh which will put it against the Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming MG Hector 6-seater.

  6. Tata Harrier AT

    The SUV was launched by the Indian automaker in January 2019 received a decent response from the customers. But as many of you may know, it was offered in the manual transmission only. Now it is all set to get the automatic transmission which will be showcased at the Expo. It will be getting a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque converter mated to the BS6-compliant 2.0-litre engine.

  7. 2020 Hyundai Creta

    The Korean carmaker will be launching the second generation of the Creta at the show. You will get three BS6 engine options: 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol. The 1.5-litre petrol engine will be mated to a CVT whereas the diesel counterpart will get a 6-speed AT. The turbo-petrol engine will get a 7-speed DCT. You may have heard about the Hyundai ix25 which actually is the Creta itself.

  8. Hyundai Tucson Facelift

    The Korean auto giant will also reveal the facelift of Tucson at the show. You will be able to see a totally revamped cabin. You can also expect to get the same engine options as that of the current version. For the price, you will have to shed more from your pocket as the facelift is expected to be priced over ₹18.5 lakh.

  9. 2020 Mahindra XUV500
